Up and Coming Mamas
Paris Aphia
Inde and Paris!
In 1783, the Treaty of Paris, which officially ended the American Revolutionary War and recognized the United States as an independent nation, was signed by Ben Franklin, John Adams, and John Jay. The newly formed USA was recognized as “free.” After the Americans’ first battlefield victory at Saratoga Springs, it was very fitting for us to name our newest show Golden “Paris” after this pivotal event. Paris is dark golden and has a very obedient, gentle personality. Her middle name is Aphia, which is an ancient Greek name meaning fruitful and productive. She is very healthy, smart, and with perfect genetics, and once she’s of age, after all the OFA and Penn hip testing, she will produce some amazing puppies!
Independence Adah
July 4th is a date Americans choose to celebrate freedom with fireworks and cookouts. On July 4th, 1776, the Second Continental Congress formally adopted the Declaration of Independence, a pivotal document in which the thirteen American colonies announced their separation from British rule. After the committee of five, with Thomas Jefferson mostly writing this sacred document, many signed (well-known signatures), committing to the ideals of the newly formed nation. Our newest show golden, Independence (Inde) for short, is named after this momentous event. Her middle name is an ancient Hebrew name, Adah, meaning ornament, adornment, or beauty." Inde is our beautiful light golden with a signature look and significant smarts. She is healthy, intelligent, and fun to be around. Once she is of age and with the OFA and Penn Hip testing complete, she will make incredible puppies.
Toga
TOGA is officially retired.
She has been the best, and we love her!
Well-mannered, obedient, sweet and loving, Toga a beautiful dark golden retriever. Her big eyes and big ears make her super cute. She enjoys playing fetch outside with our kids. Toga loves kids, people, and her puppies too! “Toga” is short for our hometown theme, “Saratoga!”
